Conducting Effective Giveaways

My Email Mentor - $100 In Your First 24 Hours Guarantee

Conducting giveaways is one of the best ways to start gaining extra customers for your business, as this is an excellent way to sacrifice a little bit of inventory (or time) in order to gain a lot of exposure; before you conduct a giveaway, however, you need to make sure you are going about it the right way.

One mistake a lot of businesses make when conducting a giveaway is that they give away something that is "convenient" or "easy" for them to give away, but that is not necessarily something that any of their customers want; rather than giving away an item that most customers might themselves see as a "giveaway" item, you should give away something your consumers will actually desire, as this will help the contest become a success.

A giveaway should always involve participation from your customers (and prospective customers) in some way, but this does not mean that you need to make their participation difficult or an "obstacle"; instead, you can turn their participation into something that is fun and easy, as more people will participate if this is the case.

The most important aspect of a giveaway is getting people to help spread the word, and because of the fact that people are busy with all the things going in in their own lives, it is sometime difficult to get people to take this step and help out. The best way to get people to help you spread the word about the contest far and wide is to incentivize the "spread the word" aspect; one way to incentivize this aspect is by having a separate giveaway that each customer is entered into when they spread the word about the first giveaway on such social media sites as Twitter and facebook.

You will be able to draw scores of new customers you way when you run a contest in this manner, and the only money you will need to spend on this form of advertising is the loss of a small amount of your inventory or time - which is a tradeoff that is definitely well worth it!

My Email Mentor - $100 In Your First 24 Hours Guarantee

Ever since the internet was introduced it was seen as a great avenue to make money. Over the years many internet domains have risen and fallen from the pinnacle of money making online. Some of them have stood the test of time like yahoo and aol. Making money online consistently and over the long haul must be done by initially learning from the sites that have already experienced it. Reading a book which lays out the maps that other companies have used to be successful online is a great way to learn.

Internet Riches The Simple Money-Making Secrets of Online Millionaires is a book that was written by Scott Fox. This book goes over the avenues used by many of the most successful online millionaires. He starts with the idea of an instant online business. Investing money up front is not something that is required when you start one of these businesses. You can thrive with this business on the internet and avoid putting up capital on your end.

He then moves into ways in which you can simply and cheaply market this business online. In order to get the name of your business out for free there are many different techniques that are available. Advertising space on your site can be offered to another site so that you can also post ads on theirs. You can do other less traditional methods of marketing too like online forums of blogs that pertain to your products or services.

Scott explores the different areas of the internet that he believes will explode going forward. He thinks a great opportunity is being provided by the readily available internet provided by mobile devices. The internet is accessed with ease on net books as well as most mobile phones that are sold today. Tablet computers are another avenue where a business can take advantage of mobile internet. This is the method that most will use to go online in the coming years and it should be exploited.

Is A Business Degree The Most Valuable Degree For Me?

My Email Mentor - $100 In Your First 24 Hours Guarantee

If you will be heading off to your first semester of college this upcoming fall - or if you are already in college and are trying to decide what you want to major in - one of the degrees that will probably stand out to you as a 'good, solid choice' is a business degree. After all, 'business' covers so many areas, and even if you do not know what you want to do after college, a business degree has a pretty good ahnce of helping you get there - right?

Actually, it turns out that a business degree might not be as useful as it used to be - and here is why.

Over the years, Business has grown into the major that students tend to choose when they do not quite know what they would like to do after school, and in addition to there already being lots of people interested in business, this creates a situation where large numbers of students are in every single class. Because each professor is likely teaching a handful of classes throughout the week - and because all of these classes have a large number of students - these professors are unlikely to hand out any "writing" assignments that are terribly difficult; which has been proven lately to be a mistake, as companies are looking to hire employees who know how to write!

If you are truly interested in business, a business degree can still be a valuable thing to have - but you should seriously consider pairing your business degree with a degree in another area of study that will require you to do a lot of writing in order to obtain a degree. Even though such majors as English, History, or Philosophy have long been seen as degrees that do not have much practical application in "the real world," the starting income for those who have such degrees is actually higher these days than for those with business degrees - so as you choose your major, you should keep this fact in mind!
